Leigh is kind, attentive, and genuinely loves the dogs in her care — you can feel it in every interaction. Winnie gets SO much love and engagement on her walks that she comes home happily exhausted, which as any dog parent knows, is the greatest gift of all. Our girl is thriving and we are very grateful she's living her best life. If you're on the fence, get off it. Your dog will love WFD, you will love WFD, and your dog will love you a little more for hiring her. Highly, HIGHLY recommend! 🐾

Leigh is absolutely wonderful and we cannot recommend her highly enough. She is lovely to interact with and clearly truly cares about the dogs she looks after. She treats our dog like he is one of her own, and we have no doubt that he absolutely loves his time with her. We feel like he is on his own vacation when we are away! Leigh provides lots of walks, toys and attention, and makes Max feel completely at home. She also sends us lots of adorable photos and updates, which gives us such peace of mind while we are away. Every picture shows a happy, relaxed dog who is clearly being very well cared for and loved. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Leigh and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and genuinely devoted to animals.

Walkabout For Dogs is exactly what you are looking for when you are seeking the best in care for your pet. Leigh is dedicated, incredibly reliable, and a generous caregiver. She always goes above and beyond when caring for our pup Piggy. Piggy absolutely adores Leigh! Leigh/Walkabout for Dogs provides dog walking services, home visits and boarding, and we always look forward to receiving updates, photos and videos when Piggy is left in her care. Highly recommend!

Leigh is truly the best! She walks my dog Ortale and is always there whenever I need her. Ortale is always so happy to see her, which says everything. It is so difficult to find someone you can truly trust with your dog, and Leigh gives me complete peace of mind. And the best part is that we always get a picture of our happy dog at the end of the walk, along with comments on how it went. Leigh is reliable, kind, caring, and clearly loves what she does. She is a real gem, and I feel so lucky to have found her. Highly recommend!

Walkabout for Dogs is outstanding—if I could give 10 stars, I would. Leigh provides exceptional care and genuinely treats every dog like her own. She sends updates when you want them, which gives real peace of mind. Theo absolutely loved his stay—he came home genuinely homesick for Leigh's house and his new friend Max. That says it all. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Theo can't wait to come back.

Leigh and Walkabout for Dogs are the absolute best! She truly has an amazing relationship with every animal she meets and treats them as her own. Leigh just has the magic dog touch. Our 2 collies are difficult (super hairy, demanding, sensitive, basically all out princesses) and they love Leigh. Always on time, always available and super responsible. 8 paws up!
